ENGLISH EXAMINATION QUESTION1!! WEEK 1 QUESTION 1!!!!

There are many things you can learn from the article. this article is about the construction of wind farms in rural areas and how it effects the scenery.

one thing i have learned from the article is that the construction of wind turbines next to Bodmin Moore will greatly effect the scenery in the local area. This is purely because of the size of the twenty wind turbines that might be constructed in the area. each wind turbine is 415ft in height, this clearly would effect the “AMAZING” view in the rural area.

Another thing i have learned from this article is that if the construction of the wind turbines proceed, the animals in the local area will be greatly effected. the source tells us that there are more than a million birds living in the area. some of these birds such as the golden plover are protected species, meaning that it would be a great loss if the wind turbines are built in the area.

finally from source one i have learnt that there is a possibility that the benefits of building wind turbines in the area outweigh the cons of building them. as there is an increase of renewable energy global warming will be decreased, meaning that the animals of the world as a whole will benefit from these wind turbines. on the other hand there are birds that will have their habitat ruined but the source suggests that the wind turbines will help the environment on a much greater scale.
